7. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

If you are a consumer (see section 1.2), you have a statutory right of withdrawal for distance selling contracts in accordance with the following provisions.

7.1 NOTICE OF RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, takes possession of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us

of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (for example by email or letter).

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

7.2 SCOPE OF PERMITTED INSPECTION

During the withdrawal period, you are entitled to inspect the goods to the extent necessary to determine their nature, characteristics and functionality, as would also be possible in a physical retail store.

This includes in particular:

opening the packaging

visual inspection of the device

a brief wired functional test

7.3 USE BEYOND NORMAL INSPECTION / COMMISSIONING

Any use beyond this inspection is considered excessive use or commissioning and goes beyond the handling necessary to examine the goods.

Commissioning or use beyond normal inspection includes in particular:

removal of battery protection strips

initial activation or charging of the battery

establishing a wireless connection (e.g. Bluetooth pairing)

setting up individual settings

use in regular work or daily operation

7.4 COMPENSATION FOR DIMINISHED VALUE

If you exercise your right of withdrawal, you must compensate for any diminished value of the goods if this loss in value results from handling of the goods beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Returned goods will be inspected within up to 14 days after receipt. The inspection includes verification of completeness, condition and possible commissioning.

If the inspection reveals use beyond the permitted inspection, an appropriate deduction for diminished value will be made from the refund.

A full refund of the purchase price will only be granted if the goods are returned in unused original condition and no use beyond the permitted inspection has taken place.

7.5 EFFECTS OF WITHDRAWAL

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for additional costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we receive your notice of withdrawal.

However, we may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever occurs first.

You must return the goods to us within fourteen days from the date you notify us of the withdrawal.

You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
